If you are a music aficionado who still owns physical music media, you probably have CDs you would like to import into your iTunes music library.

How do you do import a CD into iTunes, though? All you need is the CD of your choice and a USB CD/DVD reader. Especially if you don't mind an off-brand CD reader, they are cheap (under $30). It's absolutely worth it if you have a large CD collection to import.

Plug in your reader via USB to your Mac, then open the reader to insert your CD. When you are ready, close the reader and wait a moment for your Mac to read the CD's contents. A window will pop up asking about importing your CD. Select the Yes button to begin importing your CD.

As it is imported, each song will gain a green checkmark. When the album is completely imported, all the songs will be checked.
